Four-piece maroon velvet bridal lehenga set with heavy antique-gold zardozi. The fitted cropped choli has a scoop front neckline, elbow-length sleeves with vertical zari stripe panels, and a deep open U back closed with gold dori ties and velvet tassels. The full panelled kalidar skirt is floor length on a maroon ground worked in registers — chevron and herringbone panels at the waist, large paisley kalka motifs through the body, then a wide hem band of framed embroidered panels — so densely covered in gold dabka, zari, sequin and beadwork that the surface reads antique gold. Drawstring waist finished with gold dori and sequin tassels, maroon lining. Two separate drapes are included: a sheer nude net dupatta with scattered pink-and-gold floral buttis and a wide maroon velvet zardozi border, and an opaque maroon velvet shawl with gold and silver zardozi buttis and paisleys and a scalloped embroidered border. Lightly worn, with a few loose threads and one small mark on the sheer net dupatta near a corner.
