Three-piece lehenga set in black and gold with a contrast blue dupatta. The sleeveless cropped blouse is worked in dense horizontal bands of gold sequin, zari and scalloped gota over a black ground, with a deep plunging V front and a deep V back closed by a drawstring with gold tassels. The floor-length skirt has a full circular flare, with vertical gold and silver badla and sequin fringe striping over black, finished with a wide crushed gold tissue border gathered into a frill at the hem. The dupatta is soft periwinkle-blue net scattered with gold sequin polka dots, with a wide gold zari embroidered border and a fringed edge. Heavily embellished throughout rather than printed.
