Small beige velvet potli bag with hand embroidery. The gathered body is plush camel-beige velvet with a warm gold sheen, worked with a wide zardozi band around the lower third — two rows of gold zari scrollwork framing a floral vine of coral and deep-pink blooms with dark green leaves — plus scattered gold sequin buttis over the upper body. Gold twisted-cord drawstring closure with beaded tassel drops, and a double-strand gold bead handle with a decorative finial cap. A compact evening bag, roughly 10cm wide by 17cm tall plus the handle drop. In excellent condition with no crushing of the velvet nap and no missing beads or sequins. Finishes a sari, lehenga or kurta set for a sangeet or mehendi.
