Anita Dongre's Urvara skirt set in ivory — hand-painted in the centuries-old Pichhwai technique on pure matka silk, finished with gota patti, zardosi and sequin highlighting. The brand states the artwork on this set took its craftsmen 3,800 hours to complete; every motif is painted by hand, so no two sets are exactly alike. Ivory is the most sought-after colorway of this design. Worn once, briefly, for my reception and stored carefully since. From a smoke-free, pet-free home.
